Thomas Glenn Holidays is pleased to have had the opportunity to work this year with the Pierre Monteux Memorial Foundation’s Music Festival 2021 to produce an Heirloom Christmas Ornament. Designed with the artistic staff of the Foundation we have created a stunning ornament which captures the iconic music building nestled in the woods of Maine on one side and their signature conducting arm surrounded by a festive Holiday Wreath on the other. All proceeds from the sales of this ornament go to this amazing school for young conducting students and musicians from around the world who want to further study the whole spectrum of classical music during the intense six-week program. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed many hours of beautiful music from these very talented musicians, as they grow and stretch their musical knowledge.
The legendary French Conductor, Pierre Monteux, who conducted the premiere of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, spent his summers in Maine and founded this school almost 80 years ago.
What an Honor for everyone at Thomas Glenn Holidays and we thank the Music Festival for this opportunity.
